Checking the box doesn't mean you necessarily will get triplets. But you might. After setting that option we used "Generate melody idea with chords" for the upper staff. Before asking for a secondary line in the bass clef we turned off the triplet option, so that the bass would be simpler than the upper voice. And we rejected a few of Songworks' first attempts before keeping this one. Orchestration: Chords are played by the "organ flute" (flute stop on a pipe organ) found in Garritan Personal Orchestra. So is the bass line. The upper part we assigned to the "clean electric guitar" sound in Garageband, with a nice big reverb. Back to Table of Contents
